rupertdavis on "Access to Dashboard after changing site name in admin"

Hi, I'm not a web developer but had a site built for me. I needed to take the site down whilst I made a few changes so I changed the site name or url in the settings, like trying to pull the plug on it really. I can see now that this wasn't the best course of action but it was right before going overseas for a while and could not get hold of my web developer.
I'm now ready to switch it back on and make the changes I need to make but when I log in it doesn't go to the dashboard but just to a blank page and it has the (wrong) website name in the url string above.
Can anyone help please?

ps. in case it helps, my site is wwww.newearthphotography.com. I just took out the 'photography' in the settings, and now want to put it back and get the site back up and running.
