I'm developing a new site. It's for a gym company, thay have training centers spread out over Sweden. All training centers will have an static information page with opening hours, training courses and so on.. We also want every training center to have their own news feed.
We also have these requirements:
• We want to have this domain structure "company.se/trainingcenter1/news-post-1/"
• We want to be able to pick a "Global" newspost and show that in all trainingcenters news feed, without having to copy it on all centers one by one...
• One person on every training center should be able to log in to wp-admin and just access their traingcenter settings and news feed.
I was thinking three diffrent ways to solve this
1. Use categories, for example; "Global, Traing Center 1, Training Center 2".. Then build a custom template for each center that grabs post from only their category.
2. Custom Post Type, build a custom post type for every center. The problem with this is that I will end up with 40 custom post type in admin, pretty messy... And wordpress isn't that good with Custom Post Type archives out of the box for what I've heard?
3. Set up Multisite with 40 sites, all having their own domain "company.se/trainingcenter1"... Also very difficult to manage 40 sites, just for news updates...
Somebody else have a good solution to this?
