First, I don't know anything about coding, etc. But I have been able to find my way to producing a blog. I am using Twenty eleven with "Twenty Eleven Child theme 3 menus" by Irby. Recently a problem has emerged. My "landing page" does not show the side bar widgets at all. the content is appropriately shifted to the left side leaving room but no widgets appear. If I navigate to another past post via the "recent posts" listing at the bottom - the other posts do show the side bar widgets appropriately. Then, if I navigate back to the most recent post, again by using the "recent post" link at the bottom. The most recent post appears and the sidebar is in place as should be. But, if I click on the menu "front page" (home page), the page reloads but again, the sidebar widgets are missing.
I have read many forum items over the past week or so and can find nothing to solve this. I would appreciate any assistance - keeping in mind my lack of coding knowledge and my "point and click" approach to my blog.
