I changed some of the permalinks on the pages for my site, now google webmaster tools shows a 404 error.
As an example I created http://www.hiatt.co/hacienda-santa-fe/, which was then changed to http://www.hiatt.co/rancho-santa-fe-real-estate-hacienda-santa-fe/. It is the same page, but with a different name. It does not show up on my XML site map, and I can't do a 301 since it is the same page.
I have no idea how google is crawling the old url since it was replaced with the new url and it is the same page. I've searched through many posts, but can't seem to figure this out. Any help or insight would be appreciated.
